Energy modeling is essential to meeting the 2030 Commitment energy reduction targets. Energy modeled projects have 25% better pEUI than non-energy modeled projects.
Step-by-step guide
To add energy modeling data:
New project
- Login to your account then click "create new project"
- Enter basic project information
- set up an energy target
- In the "track progress" section, click yes under "Has energy modeling been done on this project?"
- After clicking yes, 4 fields appear: predicted EUI, energy modeling tool, energy modeling party, and cost
- Fill out these 4 4 fields then click "save project data" in the lower right corner of the screen
Existing project
- Login to your account, under "my projects" click "edit" on the project you want to add energy modeling data for
- On the project process timeline, click "3 track progress"
- In the "track progress" section, click yes under "Has energy modeling been done on this project?"
- After clicking yes, 4 fields appear: predicted EUI, energy modeling tool, energy modeling party, and cost
- Fill out these 4 4 fields then click "save project data" in the lower right corner of the screen
