Course Listings

The Course Catalog displays the full public list of courses offered by AIA providers.  Courses are listed in alphanumerical order by Course Name.  Courses listed in the Course Catalog will meet all of the below criteria:

  • Currently in "Approved" status
  • *Belong to an active provider organization who's Subscription End Date is greater than or equal to the Current Date of the Search.

All information in the course catalog is taken directly from what was entered for the course in CES Dashboard. To update information that is showing in the course catalog, make updates to the course itself in CES Dashboard.  Please note, although the course catalog displays active courses by default, users have the ability to filter their search to find retired and expired courses.

Sort and Filter

The course information is listed by the following columns: Course Name, Provider Name, Category and Credits.  Courses can be sorted in ascending or descending alphanumeric order by Course Name and Provider Name.  Courses can be filtered based on: Credit Type, Delivery Type, Categories & Sub-categories, Date Range of Course Offering, and Status.

To filter the search, click on the Filters button to view the filters panel.  From this view, select the designated checkbox to the left of the desired option.

For the Credit Type, the selection can be made between LU|Elective or LU|HSW, which includes LU|HSW-SD, courses.

For the Delivery Type, the filter can be set to "On Demand" or "Live".  Only one selection can be made at a time.

For the Date Range of Course Offering, the date must be entered through the calendar icon or typed in with the format MM/DD/YYYY.

The start date indicates the session start date.  The end date indicates the session end date.

This feature is disabled when "On Demand" has been selected for the Delivery Type

For the Categories & Sub-Categories, there are several categories with related sub-categories to select.  This list can be found in the AIA's CES Provider Manual.

If you enter:

  • Only the start date, the return results will render courses that have at least one session who's start date is greater than or equal to the start date entered.
  • Only the end date, the return results will render courses that have at least one session who's end date is less than or equal to the end date entered.
  • Both the start and end dates, the return results will render courses that have at least one session who's start date and end date are between the dates entered.
  • No dates for both the start and end dates, the return results will render based upon the delivery type selection in alphanumerical order.

For the Status, as mentioned in the Course Listings section, users can view retired and expired courses by selecting the "Include retired and expired courses" checkbox.

Once the desired filters are selected, the Filters button can be clicked again to close the filter panel and view the resulting filtered list.

The course search functionality allows you the option to search for your courses or providers by using exact phrasing with at least three or more characters, not to include special characters (i.e. "-", "+", ".").  The choice to search for providers or courses can be made by selecting the radio button beside the option of "Search by Course" or "Search by Provider".  The Search by Course option is set as the default.

The search results will be displayed with up to 50 courses on each page based upon the presence of all the search terms in the course name and course number, respectively.  More results can be discovered by utilizing the pagination at the bottom of the page.

If the search does not find a match according to your search term(s), it will yield the response of "No results found".
