CES Course Management: Quick Guide
How to Create and Submit a Course
Step 1 - Manage My Courses Tile
To add a course:
Select "Add a Course" on the Manage My Courses Tile
In the Add New Course modal
a. Enter the Provider Organization
b. Enter the Course Name
c. Enter the Course NumberSelect Save
Step 2 - Course Profile Page
To access the Course Profile Page, from the CE Provider Profile Page:
You can access this page through the Course Index:
a. Select "Manage My Courses" under the Manage My Courses Tile on the CE Provider Profile Page.
b. Select a course listed by selecting View under the Action column of the Course Index.OR
You can access this page by adding a new course (through the Submit a New Course Tile):
a. Select "Add a New Course"
b. Enter Provider Organization
c. Enter Course Name
d. Enter Course Number
e. Select Save
Step 3 - Header Tiles
To update the Course Name:
Select Edit in the Course Header Tile
Update the Course Name on the Edit Course modal (Note: Provider Organization and Course Number are locked and cannot be changed)
Select Save
Step 4 - Course at a Glance Tile
To update the Course at a Glance tile:
Select Edit in the Course at a Glance tile to launch the Course at a Glance modal
Choose whether this is a Nano learning course by selecting the Yes or No radio buttons for the Nano learning course field.
Select a Live or On-Demand Course Delivery Type
Select the appropriate Course Level
Select the Learning Unit Type from the drop-down options of LU or LU/HSW
Enter the Number of Learning Units
Select the Language of this course
Enter a price for Architect members, Associate members, and non-members (if applicable)
Select Save
Step 5 - About this Course Tile
To update the About this Course Tile:
Select Edit in the About this Course tile to launch the About this Course modal
Enter the Description of course
Enter any required Prerequisite Knowledge (optional)
For traditional courses:
a. Enter information for all four learning objectives (more can be added by clicking the Add More Objectives button once the initial four learning objective fields have been completed)
For nano learning courses:
b. Enter information for one learning objective (only one learning objective is required for nano learning courses)Select Save
Step 6 - Topics Tile
To complete the information on the Topics Tile:
Select Edit in the Topics Tile to open the Topics modal
Select a category from the drop-down menu.
Select a sub-category (if necessary--some categories do not have sub-categories).
Enter the keywords for the course (optional).
Select Save.
Step 7 - Course Status Tile
To submit course for review:
Once all red highlighted tiles have been completed, the Submit for Review button will become active. Select the Submit for Review button on Course Status Tile
Enter a comment, if applicable
Select Save
Once submitted for review, you can revert the course to draft if you need to make updates to the course.
Select the Revert to Draft button on Course Status Tile
Enter a comment, if applicable
Click Save
Your course will return to Draft status and may be edited.
How to Retire a Course
To retire a course:
From the Approved status, select the Retire option from the Course Status Tile dropdown on the Course Profile Page.
Enter a comment, if applicable
Click Update
Confirm the retirement request on the retire course modal by selecting "Yes."
How to Delete a Course
Delete Course Tile
To delete a course:
Click on the Delete Course Tile on the Course Profile Page.
Confirm the deletion by selecting "Yes".
Your course will be deleted from the database and you will be directed back to the Course Index.

Comments History Tile
To access Comments History:
Select the View All Comments button on the Comments History Tile
a. View an individual comment by selecting View Comment under the Action column
b. Hide a comment by selecting Hide Comment under the Action column
How to View Courses: Course Index
To view a course from the Course Index:
Select Manage My Courses on the Manage My Courses Tile
Select View under the Action column to view the course profile page
The Course Index can be sorted by alphanumeric ascending or descending order by selecting the title of the column you want to sort.
How to Download Courses
To download the current listing of courses:
Click on the Download Report button at the top right-hand corner of the Course Index
Click on the exported csv at the bottom of the screen to open the report.
