Fonteva User Component Monthly Update - June 2022
Welcome to the June edition of the Fonteva User Component monthly update.
Important Announcements:
netFORUM access will be disabled for Component Staff at 5pm ET on June 2nd. According to a survey, 96% of components are ready. Should the Chapter Portal not meet your needs, please contact Membership at memberservices@aia.org or Technology at digitalsupport@aia.org.
What’s up next?
As always, you may refer to the Roadmap housed in Portal Commons as this document is updated regularly. In case you don’t have time to review, a quick snapshot:
Edit functionality: Beginning today, you will be able to edit select member (contact) details. As you use this new functionality, please give us feedback via a quick survey embedded in the Chapter Portal. An SOP including editable fields can be accessed here. And a quick tutorial here. (Diana Smith of AIA Arizona, thanks for your permission to use your test record!)
Transfer In/Out Report (improved over previous version): The report is a byproduct of a revamped transfer process. Soon, members will be able to submit a transfer request through My Account. No more PDFs! We continue to test the transfer process and expect to deliver the updated process and revamped report in June.
ACH Report (resolves several issues): We’ve been speaking of this for several months, and the fix is being tested as we speak. Expected completion is this month.
New Knowledge Community/Member Group Report: You will be able to run a report of active members and to what Knowledge Community/groups they belong. With it, you may choose to leverage this information for marketing, events and/or volunteer recruitment opportunities. This will be available in June.
Report Date Range functionality: Gain more flexibility with your exported data. Also slated for completion in June.
Merge Process: Finally, we are ready to test the solution to ensure it meets various use cases. We expect to have this completed by the end of this month as well.
Notable absence:
Upgrade report: The upgrade process works, and eligible members are being elevated appropriately. But the report itself is something that we hope to improve on in July. In the interim, upgrade (elevated) report requests can continue to be sent to digitalsupport@aia.org.
Item to note:
