Component Monthly Fonteva Update - April 2023

Component Monthly Fonteva Update - April 2023

Welcome to the April edition of the Fonteva User Component monthly update. A couple of fun facts about April 6th

  • “April” comes from the verb “aperire” which means “to open” and it’s thought the name was given to the month because it’s a sign of trees and flowers opening and blooming (we can confirm with our stuffed noses and puffy eyes from all the pollen).

  • April 6th is National Twinkie Day (we hope you can enjoy one today).

What will be available for use soon?

Firm Detail Report: List of accounts/firms tied to your active members; including Principal and Staff role and firm size. Note: Two weeks ago, we attempted to deploy this report to Production but encountered an error. Fonteva continues to help with resolving the issue.

Data: The completeness and accuracy of report outputs is only as good as the data we have in Fonteva. Once the Firm Detail Report is deployed, data found within the report (and the two other reports added at the end of March – “Architects Licensed =/< 10 Years" and “Associate/Path to Licensure”) may be incomplete or outdated. Please encourage your members to log into AIA.org, where one is automatically dropped into My Account, select “edit” in the Manage tile, and update accordingly. For further assistance, your members can contact MemberSupport@aia.org (note the new email address).

Reminder! Lapsing process in early April:

The Lapsing process is currently running. Members who have not paid for 2022 membership will show a Member Status of Lapsed after completion. Reports and graphs on the Chapter Portal will be updated once the process has been completed. The “Lapsed Members” report will show your Component’s members who have not paid (it had been blank between Termination process run in January and April 6th). The “Full Member Roster” report shows all Active and Lapsed members. The charts on the Membership tab will show fewer results because they only look for members who are Active.

What’s up next?

As always, you may refer to the Roadmap housed in Portal Commons as this document is updated regularly. Within, you will see a list of reports already requested by your peers.
