Universal Login - troubleshooting for AIA staff trying to log into an event site

Staff who have a Fonteva account will not be able to log into a Fonteva event site using Universal Login because their Fonteva account and UL use the same email address.


  1. For a de-activated Fonteva user:
  • Add ".invalid" at the end of their username, otherwise Foteva is going to try to create a new one using the same username and fail.


  1. For staff that have active Fonteva user accounts:
  • Update their permission sets to include:
    • AIA Events Content Editor
    • AIA Events Set-up
  • *Please note that this is a temporary work around until Santiago finds a permanent solution.


Staff who are having trouble logging into an event site using UL, will receive the error below.



Other scenarios where there is a permission issue:

  • Staff member can log into event site, completes the registration form and clicks the 'Register Now' button and it just spins.
  • Staff member can log into event site, completes the registration process, and clicks the 'Confirm Order' on the check out page and it just spins or displays 'APEX CPU timeout' error.
