Engagement Type History Forms Configuration

History Forms are configurable so Engagement Type history forms can be expanded by accessing the following Custom Metadata Types from Salesforce setup.

Engagement Type configuration


  • From Salesforce setup access Custom Metadata Types.
  • Access Manage Records for Heroku History Forms (AIA_Heroku_History_Form__mdt) custom metadata type.

                              


  • Click on New to create a new Engagement Type configuration record.


                                     


    • Specify the label for the Engagement Type.
    • Specify the Engagement Type name.
    • Specify the name of the related history object.
    • Check if this engagement type form is active or leave unchecked if inactive.



Engagement Type Form Fields configuration


  • From Salesforce setup access Custom Metadata Types.
  • Access Manage Records for History Form Fields(History_Form_Field__mdt) custom metadata type.


                           


  • Click on New to create a new History Form Field configuration record.

                                   

               

    • Specify the field label.
    • Specify the History Form Field name.
    • Specify the field name of the Contact History External Object (public$contact_history).
    • Specify the Engagement Type form name that this field corresponds to.


History Form Year configuration


  • From Salesforce setup access Custom Metadata Types.
  • Access Manage Records for History Form Year (History_Form_Year__mdt) custom metadata type.


                                 


  • Click on New to create a new History Form Year configuration record.


                     

    • Specify the Year label.
    • Specify Year field name.
    • Specify the Year value to be used by the history forms.



Sponsorship Types configuration

  • From Salesforce setup access Custom Metadata Types.
  • Access Manage Records for Sponsorship Type (Sponsorship_Type__mdt) custom metadata type.

                             

  • Click on New to create a new Sponsorship Type configuration record.


                                         

    

    • Specify the Sponsorship Type label.
    • Specify Sponsorship Type unique name.
    • Specify Sponsorship Type to be used by the history forms.
