Registration cancellation
There are several ways to cancel an attendees event registration in Fonteva. In this example, we will cancel the registration though the attendee record in the event.
- Log into Fonteva.
- Go to Events.
- Select the event where there is a registration you want to cancel.
- Click the Attendees link from the Quick Links list.
- Click the down arrow to the far right of the attendee name and select Edit.
- On the Edit Attendee screen, click the dropdown arrow next to the Status field and select Cancelled.
- Click the Save button in the lower right-hand corner.
An attendee cancelling their registration:
- Â From the event website, the attendee should log in using the credentials they created during the registration process.
- From the Event's page Navigation bar, click the Manage Registration button.
- Click the Ellipse button next to the registrants name.
- Select Cancellation Request from the menu.
- In the Cancellation Request window, click the Request button.
- Once an attendee has requested a refund, Refund Requested will be checked on their Attendee record.
- There is no automation to create and process a refund or cancel the attendee's registration.
- To refund, go to the original receipt and start the refund process by clicking Create Refund.
- In order to add the event ticket back to the available inventory, you must go to the attendee record and change the Status to Canceled.
