Energy modeling is essential to meeting the 2030 Commitment energy reduction targets. Energy modeled projects have 25% better pEUI than non-energy modeled projects.  

Step-by-step guide

To add energy modeling data:

New project

  1. Login to your account then click "Create New Project".
  2. Enter basic project information.
  3. set up an energy target.
  4. In the "Track Design Data" section, click yes on the  Predicted Energy Use tile.
  5. After clicking yes, 4 fields appear: predicted EUI, energy modeling tool, energy modeling party, and cost.
  6. You can also add fuel sources.
  7. Fill out these 4 fields then click "Save & go to project dashboard" in the lower/upper right corner of the screen.

Existing project

  1. Login to your account, under "My projects" click "Edit" on the project you want to add energy modeling data for.
  2. In the "Track Design Data" section, click yes under on the Predicted Energy Use tile.
  3. After clicking yes, 4 fields appear: predicted EUI, energy modeling tool, energy modeling party, and cost.
  4. Enter fuel source data if you have it. 
  5. Fill out these 4 fields then click "Save  & go to project dashboard".
