Rather than entering project information individually into the AIA 2030 DDx, companies may instead choose to use the bulk import feature to bring their data into the DDx. To use bulk import, project data must be added to the  bulk import template (either the csv template or the excel template), with a recommended maximum size of 5,000 projects. Note that the bulk import feature is only available to employees with Administrator privileges.

For more information on how to successfully bulk upload your projects, explore the latest Bulk Import Guide. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough of how the bulk import feature is used, including details on required formatting, potential errors, and special cases, such as projects with multiple use types or design phases.

Submit your portfolio with bulk import

You have the option of submitting your portfolio during the bulk import process. Once you've selected your csv or excel file, check the box in the Portfolio Submission tile that certifies that you "would like to submit these projects as your portfolio submission." Select the reporting year and click "Import."

Note that the file you import must include all the projects you would like to include in your portfolio. If you upload another spreadsheet, it will override previous submissions.
