The AIA 2030 DDx Automated Programming Interface (API) gives users the ability to import a set of project data fields directly from an energy modeling tool. The energy modeling tool import feature allows a project team member to add or update a project that has been modeled in an energy modeling tool to the firm’s account in the DDx database. Administrators must provide access by generating a user key, at the bottom of the Company page.
These energy modeling tools can directly import project data into the DDx:
- Autodesk Insight 360
- BEopt
- Sefaira Architecture
- Sefaira Systems
- Cove Tool
- Passive House Planning Package (PHPP)
- PlanItImpact
- IESVE
- ClimateStudio
- NEO Net Energy Optimizer
- SPEED
- WUFI Passive
Further information about how this connection works can be found in the 2030 API Implementation Guide. This guide describes technical details for modeling tool developers to connect software programs to the DDx.
