When selecting event dates be mindful of your audience’s availability. Various industries have busier times and events scheduled at certain times of the year.  If an event is scheduled at a busy time for a desired audience, it can lower the attendance of the event.

Points to consider when selecting a date

  1. Avoid religious and federal holidays
  2. Check similar industry calendars to avoid conflicts
  3. Check with local components/chapters of the city being considered for date conflicts
