How to fix bad Event URL's in a new sandbox

When refreshing a sandbox from the PROD environment or spinning up a new sandbox, sometimes the URL that is assigned to a community and to an event doesn't pick up the correct sandbox domain. These are the steps needed to fix that.

Step-by-step guide

When you create a sandbox:

  1. Go into critical updates and disable "name instance URL"
  2. Go to "all Communities" and grab the URL
  3. Go to the Events Object and edit the object field for Event URL ( a formula field) with the correct URL.
