Considerations for Event Program

This page gives you the items you need to consider for your event program.  


  1. Agenda

    1. Time/date
    2. Session/Topic Title
    3. Session/Topic Summary Description
      1. Follow AIA content governance guidelines using the tone/voice of AIA with the overview being 3 to 4 sentences limited to 250-300 words. Content governance reviews the copy to finalize.
      2. Use the first sentence to state the benefits of attendance.
      3. Keep it simple and easy to read
      4. Leave the reader with wanting more.  The summary should get the reader to want to find out more about the event, making them continue on to the description and other details

  2. Speaker(s)

    1. Speaker Name
    2. Speaker Picture - Optional (420 x 420 px)
    3. Keynote Speaker Bio
      1. Keep it brief – try to keep it to no more than 100 to 150 words
      2. Include current position, brief work history and experience that is relevant to topic and audience
      3. Include academic qualifications, awards, and reference to published works if applicable for the topic
    4. Session Speaker - name, title, and company
